Samantha Joy Pearlman is a creative performing artist based in NYC. She is a singer/songwriter, actress/playwright, director & voice teacher.

She is the lead singer/songwriter of the indie rock band Joy and the Wildfire and her original songs “Madly” and “Real World” were featured on the BMI #musicmonday playlist.

She has a passion for developing new work through her experiences working on the Broadway-bound Chasing Rainbows (Mary Jane Gumm, Paper Mill Playhouse/Developmental Lab), Factory Girls (Harriet, 11th Hour Theatre Co), and The Art Tour (Deb, original cast album with T3’s Jim Hogan), among many other readings and workshops. She made her television debut in The Artist (Network) which is set to premiere sometime this year. She also performs with America’s Sweethearts, a vintage Andrews-Sisters style trio, and The Sugarplums, a holiday vintage trio. She is currently adapting her original show, Devotedly, Sincerely Yours into a television pilot.

She is an associate voice teacher in Mike Ruckles Voice Studio and is a Level Three Certified Singing Athlete teacher. She has taught musical theater and vocal workshops in the US and China. BA: Wesleyan University.
